Hello!

Thank you for visiting our website. We are a group of gay people who enjoy playing sport rather than watching it :-). We play football, volleyball, table tennis and go swimming every week. We also organize other sporting activities such as hiking, skiing or bicycle trips.

We formed our group in Prague eight years ago. At first, there were only a few enthusiasts, but the number of newcomers rose considerably in the course of the last few years. We started playing volleyball, and later on football, 5 years ago. Today, we count around 70 people who take part in our sporting activities. Some of them come regularly, some of them occasionally. We meet outdoor in the summer and indoor during winter.

We began playing football on a playing field close to the Vltava river in a part of the city called Branik. It was a very nice and charming place and we got used to fetching the ball in the water :-). Unfortunately, the floods in 2002 totally destroyed the embankment, so we moved up on the large lawn field above the city where many other groups play. During winter, we rent a gym. In 2002, we decided to let the world know about our football group and invited a team from Munich to visit us. Despite losing, we enjoyed the weekend with the Streetboys very much and travelled the same year to take part in the first tournament abroad in Munich (October 2002). Further on, we took part in two tournaments in Berlin (February 2003, 2004) and in Hamburg (2005,2007).

We enjoy playing sport and meeting people as the social part of our activity is the most important aspect for us. We welcome all gay and gay-friendly people, regardless of their playing ability :-). Independently of us, a volleyball group in Prague started up after our group was formed. They go in for playing volleyball at a higher performance level (see their web Pratety).

We meet every Monday for swimming or playing table tennis, every Tuesday to play volleyball and every Thursday to play football. If you are interested in joining us contact:
